Tony Leon Williams

Tony (Leon, Lonnie, Love) Williams was born on October 22, 1971, to Elder Paul Gill and the late Mary Sue Williams- Rice. Tony departed this life on Saturday, April 29th, 2023, at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Leon accepted the Lord at an early age and continued to praise him throughout his journey. He enjoyed singing the gospel of Jesus with his family, especially his father.  Leon was preceded in death by; his mother, Mary Sue Williams- Rice; grandparents, Rev. Arthur Gill, Mable Gill, Mary Williams, and Tony Williams.

Leon leaves to cherish his memories; parents, Elder Paul and Evangelist Helen Gill of Durham, NC; brothers, Johnathan Rogers (Kim) of Raleigh, NC, Paul Montague (Crystal) of Wilson, NC, Dexter Martin (Mae) of San Diego, CA, Kenneth Roberson of Raleigh, NC, Robert Miles of Durham, NC; sisters, Cassandra Tart of Wendell, NC, Evette Dunkins (Jamie) of Wake Forest, NC, Britney Miles of Raleigh, NC, Crystal Martin of SC, and Katori Clayton of Durham, NC. Leon also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
