Stephanie Vernice Campbell Turner

July 1, 1958 — January 16, 2021

Mrs. Stephanie Vernice Campbell Turner
"Memories have a magical way of keeping our loved one near;
Ever close in mind and heart is the one we had so dear".
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth and as part of the earth's creation, death
came quietly and gave gentle sleep. To those that I leave behind, please don't you weep. The
good Lord giveth, and at times he takes away. Nothing on this earth is here to stay.
According to the will of Our Heavenly Father, so it was, that God in His infinite wisdom sent an
Angel from heaven to reclaim the soul of Mrs. Stephanie Vernice Campbell Turner, Wife,
Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grand Mother, Sister, Aunt, Sister-in-Law, and Friend.
Mrs. Stephanie Vernice Campbell Turner was preceded in death by her father and mother,
William James Campbell and Donnie Mae Campbell; brother, Dwayne Campbell; sisters, Mary
Alice McAllister and Betty Campbell;

God gives the utterance. She came to church with a praise in her heart. A few of her most memorable

Were Would I Be".
"A Time To Work"

years. She had a kind heart; a wonderful and loving disposition and she touched many lives.
Mrs. Stephanie Vernice Campbell Turner (A Special Woman): a precious one, from us, is
gone; a voice we loved is stilled. A chair is vacant in our home, which never can be filled. Her
words would brighten the life or lighten the load; Of some weary traveler lost on Life's Road.
Even though she's gone, we're never alone; We'll just remind ourselves – what does it matter
how long we may live; If as long as we live, we unselfishly give? She leaves to cherish her fond
memories:

"The Strength Of A Great Woman''
A sweet smile on your face as you sleep the pain away, Resting in God's arms now,
although in the ground your body lay. He needed another angel in the Heavenly choir and
that's why you had to go. As you promised, you are still with us watching your children
here below.
We never would have imagined the end would be like this – comforting you. Holding your
hand, telling you not to worry was not an easy thing for us to do. And even in your weakest
hour, you tried to comfort us too, Caressing our face, and calming our soul as only a
mother can soothe.
You have always been there through the thick and the thin No matter what we've done,
unconditionally your love never wavering. When we told you of the mistakes we made and
all the times people saw us fall You simply nodded and gently replied 'so have we all'. The
key to success is learning from the past Ensuring a brighter future is now the present task.
A pillar of strength you were, even until the end Fighting all life's battles, knowing it's
triumphantly you would win Pushing us to be the best that you know we can be Reminding
us to keep the faith and allow God to lead freely. Knowing it's through Christ that we can
do all things And as He never makes a mistake we will come through victoriously. Mother,
we miss you more than these words could ever say The pain in our hearts is from one
unimaginable day After we cried all that we could; our eyes still shed countless more tears
, And when we try to sleep, we have nightmares of ten-thousand fears We walk in footsteps
on an unsure path Our load feels so heavy we're not sure we will last. Silly though we may
be, were afraid of life now that you're gone Because we've always had a mother. And
Mother, what about our sisters and our brothers. Oh Mother, we wish you could have
stayed just a little while longer, there's so much left to do We wonder if we prayed hard
enough and if so, did they get through. Finding relief in knowing we will see you again
someday soon. Remembering all you taught us as our soul we continue to groom We will
walk in the footsteps you have walked before us Seeing the path you walked lead us, Mother,
straight into victory.
So as you sleep Mother, in the cradle of the Lord, We are reassured of God's promises in
His Holy Word. We dream of the day when Heaven's gates open to receive… And with your
smiling face and loving eyes, reunited once again we will be.
We love and miss you…Your Loving Daughter – Donna "Tink" & Family
