In Loving Memory of Stanley Green

On Thursday, September 10th, Stanley earned his wings and was united with his Savior.

Stanley was born on April 2, 1960, in Apex, North Carolina, to the late John Daniel Green and Mary Lee Green. He and his family lived in Apex before later moving to Angier, where he spent much of his young adult life.

During his early years, Stanley met Peggy McArm. Their union was blessed with three children. Stanley later moved to Clayton, where he made his home surrounded by family and the many friends he had made throughout the years.

Stanley was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing and staying active. Even during his illness, he continued to find the strength to go to work. He was not the type of person to sit around; he believed in staying busy and making the most of each day. Above all, Stanley loved his family and cherished every opportunity to be surrounded by them.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, John Daniel Green and Mary Lee Green, and his three brothers, Reginald, Randy, and Nathaniel.

Stanley leaves to cherish his memory his three children: Adrianne Henry (Anthony) of Fayetteville, Chris McArm (Missy) of Fayetteville, and Kelvin Green of Fayetteville; his sisters, Brenda Wells of Clayton and Anita Green of Whiteville; his brother, Johnny Green of Raleigh; his grandchildren; nieces and nephews; along with other relatives, loved ones, and dear friends.

Though Stanley is no longer with us in body, his memory, love, and the impact he made on the lives of those who knew him will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest peacefully in the arms of his Savior.
