Roscoe lived a life grounded in faith, love, and service. For many years, he was a devoted member of Bethel AME Church, where his faithful service and warm spirit fostered lasting friendships that enriched the congregation and all who knew him.
Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, Roscoe spent many years as the owner and operator of his own dump truck business. This career was a source of great pride and allowed him to provide steadfastly for his family until his well-earned retirement.
A lifelong passion for cars filled Roscoe’s heart with joy. Often found in his garage, he lovingly tinkered with engines and shared stories about his favorite automobiles. His love for cars was more than just a hobby—it was a beautiful reflection of his curiosity, craftsmanship, and zest for life.
Roscoe was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: William Lester Richardson, Gerald Wayne Richardson, and Raymond Pippin.
He leaves behind a cherished family who will hold his memory close: his devoted son, Ronald Stancil, Sr.; beloved grandchildren Ashley Stancil, Antwanique Stancil, Antonio Johnson, Ronald Stancil, Jr. (Jessica), Romeo Stancil, Roasha Stancil, Olivia Riceman, Kyndall Cash, Ariyana Stancil, Andre (Tylon) Stancil, and Jaselle (Talynn) Dean; and four treasured great-grandchildren.
Roscoe is also lovingly survived by two sisters, Gail Richardson and Sheila O'Neal; his brother, Dale Richardson; and a wide circle of cousins, nieces, nephews, cherished friends, and his loyal and constant canine companion, Jack.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Roscoe’s legacy of love, strength, and quiet devotion shines on, living forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
