Ronald Earl Sanders

Ronald Earl Sanders was born on January 11, 1962 to the late Pearline Sanders Williams in Smithfield, NC. He departed this life on September 4, 2026. Ronald graduated from

Smithfield-Selma Senior High School in 1983. After graduating, he began working in construction for a period of time before later joining Colonial Carton Company where he worked as a delivery truck driver. He continued working until his health no

longer allowed him to do so.

Ronald was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing and he also found joy in fishing as a hobby.

Ronald married the love of his life Mary Dunston Sanders in June of 2018. He leaves to cherish his memories: four stepchildren,

Kendra Carr (Tevin) of Killeen, Texas;

Michael Dunston (Chardonnay) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; Dominique Dunston of Selma, NC; and Iesha Dunston of Selma, NC; three

siblings, Emma Sanders Watson and Donald Ray Sanders both of Kenly, NC and Deborah Sanders of Wilson’s Mills, NC; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a Mother-in-love, Ms. Treva Stancil of Selma,

NC; one life long friend/brother, Bradford Blake. Along with a host of other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
