Raymond "Mookie" Mcduffie

Raymond Royce McDuffie, Jr, the son of the late

Raymond McDuffie, Sr and Geneva Williams McDuffie,

was born on May 2, 1958 in Johnston County, NC. He

departed this life on March 25, 2021.

Raymond was raised by his grandmother, Pearl

McDuffie Smith. He attended North Johnston High School

in Kenly, NC. Raymond worked most of his life at

Carolina Packers and recently retired after a long career

there and a reputation of outstanding service.

Raymond leaves to cherish his memories: three

daughters, Geneva (Jamar) Melvin of Dunn, NC, Crystal

McDuffie of Benson, NC, Shikarah McDuffie of Charlotte,

NC; eight grandchildren, Micaiah of Dunn, NC,

Emmanuel of Georgia, Malachi of Charlotte, NC, Sarai,

Janada and Anna all of Dunn, NC, Kintajzae and Noah of

Benson, NC; one sister, Gloria Austin of Smithfield, NC;

one uncle, Leroy "Red" (Lila) Williams of Princeton, NC

and one aunt, Ruth (Maurice) Atkinson of Smithfield, NC

and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
