He attended Head Start, Four Oaks Elementary, Meadow

Middle, South Johnston High School, JCC where he

achieved his high school diploma. OJ loved sports - his

favorite sport to watch was basketball and his favorite

sport to play was baseball. As a child he attended True Way

Holiness Church and Miracle Temple Holiness Church. He

also sung in the choir at Hickory Grove Church.

OJ was employed by Amazon in Garner, NC. OJ’s go-to for

a peace of mind was his music and playing his game. OJ

was the type of person that allowed no one to mess with

his loved ones because he was coming.

Otis (OJ) leaves to cherish his memories his mother Lora

Ward Giles, four brothers Tony Ward (Juana), Jimed Giles

(Sabrina) of Newton Grove, NC, Jeffrey Lane of Smithfield,

NC, Brandon Lee of 701 Benson, NC.

One sister Iesha Small of Four Oaks, NC, his favorite Aunt

Lois Snead (Edward) of Benson, NC.

The mothers of his children Jessica Jackson, Shawnetoyia

Dinkins, Shante Britt.

Two daughters Ozaria Giles, Onesti Giles, four sons

Omari Giles, Otis Giles, Jr., Ozairion Giles, Osiah Giles.

Ten nieces, seven nephews, three great nieces, three great

nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and

friends.
