Mrs. Olivia Rene was born on April 8, 1938, in Miragoâne, Haiti. She was blessed with a happy childhood and was raised with strong values that would guide her throughout her life. As a young woman, she made the courageous decision to move to Aruba to work so she could help support her mother, demonstrating her selflessness and deep love for her family.

While living in Aruba, Olivia met the love of her life. After a brief courtship, the two were united in marriage and began building a life together founded on love, faith, and devotion.

Together, they became faithful members of Iglesia Alianza Evangélica Oranjestad, where Olivia joyfully served the Lord in many capacities. She faithfully served as a Haitian Sunday School teacher, deaconess, kitchen assistant, and volunteer during numerous children’s church camps. Whatever was needed, Olivia willingly gave of her time and talents, serving wholeheartedly with humility and a cheerful spirit.

During this season of her life, Olivia and her husband were blessed with two children. She lovingly raised them to know and love the Lord and to treat everyone with kindness, dignity, and respect. Her faith was evident not only in her words but also in the way she lived each day.

Olivia lived an exemplary life marked by grace, compassion, and service to both her family and those around her. She found joy in serving others and remained steadfast in her faith throughout her life. Her warm spirit, grateful heart, and unwavering trust in God were an inspiration to all who knew her.

She will be lovingly remembered for the life she lived, the faith she shared, and the love she extended to everyone she encountered.
