Mary Jane Young

Mary Jane Badger-Young was born April 23, 1938 in Johnston County, NC to the late Corurnelious and Ida Jane Sanders Badger.

At the age 87 Mary passed away peacefully at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield NC on Saturday, July 5th, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Nathaniel, John Henry, Leroy Sr., James Sr., and one sister, Bertha Mitchener.

She leaves to cherish her many memories, her son, Jerry Young of Clayton NC, her siblings, Florine Troublefield of Raleigh, NC, Leon (Me Hellen) of Garner, NC, Marvin of Goldsboro, NC, Gloria Holder (Glenn) of Clayton, NC, and Evelyn Triggs of Clayton, NC.

Mary is cherished and survived by a host of nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
