Margaret Louise Williams Faison

April 23, 1953 — November 20, 2022

Margaret Louise Faison was born on April 23rd, 1953, in Johnston County, North Carolina, and was the sixth child born to Mary &T.J. Williams. Margaret attended Johnston County School but left early to help her mom work in the cotton fields. Later, Margaret married the late Clifton Ray Faison of Princeton, North Carolina. Their union blessed them with two children, Melissa, and Clifton Leon Faison. Margaret and Ray decided to move their family to Washington, D.C. in the early '70s. Margaret got her first job at Peoples Drugstore and later on was employed at the Chamber of Commerce as a coder. Margaret was truly dedicated to her job. She was a hard worker and loved what she did. She worked at the Chamber of Commerce for 21 years and retired in 2000. Margaret always said once she retired, she wanted to come back home. In 2001 Margaret relocated to back to North Carolina. Margaret lived out the rest of her life in peace and quiet with her devoted friend Joe Hodges. She loved her family, and although he had a tough and strong exterior, she also had a huge soft heart. She was loved and will be missed dearly. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Thomas Jr and Charles Otis; sisters Laura, Sandra Faye, and Jessie Faye. Margaret leaves to cherish her memories: her children; Leon(Cynthia), and Melissa; brothers, Jerry (Doris), Lavern (Alice), Clyde(Annie); sisters, Daisy, M.Leona (William), Lajune (Jerry), Janice, Latrina; sister in laws, Shirley and Tina; brother in laws, Dan, Archie (Bell), and John Faison; grandchild Breonna Faison; and a special friend to the family Ronnece Martin. Margaret also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and two special friends, Nancy Hensley and Gloria To be. These three women shared a special bond and became sisters. Although Margaret has left us physically, and spiritually she will always remain in our hearts
