Loomis Hodges Jr. was born to the late Christine Headen and Loomis Hodges Sr. Loomis Hodges Jr. graduated from Hillside High School and received a B.S. in Business Administration from St.Augustine College in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1979. He joined the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force , Loomis worked for the United States Postal Service.
Loomis survuved by his loving and devoted wife of nearly 50 years, Lois, three children , Kathy(Jeff) of Colonial Height, VA, Greg(Lisa) of Wendell,NC Lynell(Juan Carlos) of Durham,NC; two sister, Lucy Tookes(Curtis Sr) of Homestead,Fl and Juanita Brooks of Wake Forest; four grandchildren Kayla Jones & Jamel Jones of Colonial Height,VA Tashanna Pulley of Spring Hope,NC and Larnia Allen of Wendell,NC one great grandchild Kayla Deans of Spring Hope,NC.
