Levada Mae Ingram Darden

Levada Mae Ingram Darden was born on January 4, 1961, to James Evans Utley and Rosa Ingram Patterson. She peacefully entered eternal rest on December 13, 2025.

A proud graduate of South Johnston High School, Levada dedicated over 20 years to working at Becky’s Log Cabin, where she was deeply valued and respected for her hard work and commitment.

Levada was preceded in death by her parents, Rosa Ingram and James Evans Utley, as well as her brothers, James Evan Jr. and Timothy Evans. She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Darden, and her children, Christy (Gohu) and Jacob (Latarsha). She was a proud grandmother to Jacoby Jr., Javada, Ethan, and Noah, and a step-grandmother to Ny’sicure.

She is also survived by her sisters, Olivia Sanders, Rosa Smith, Benita Evans, Amy Evans, James Evan Sr., Zalella Evans, Jerry Evans, and Timothy Evans. Levada leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, including nephews Dwayne Sanders and Kaiden, as well as nieces Atoria Sanders Holmes, Tesa Sanders Lackey, Casey Smith, Vanessa Smith, Tanika McKey, and Granel Niecy. Her brother-in-law, Roger Geddie (Angie Jones), along with her uncles and aunts Walter Ingram, Lacy Ingram, Nora, and Jean, also survive her.

Levada Mae Ingram Darden will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, love, and family bonds cherished by many.
