Mr. Lee "Pete" Williams died on Friday, August 08, 2014 at SECU HOSPICE HOUSE in Smithfield, NC
Lee Williams affectionately known as Pete was born December 6, 1947 to the late Irene Williams and Lester Cole. He departed this life on August 8, 2014 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents Lee was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Sanders and Patricia Williams.

He leaves precious memories with nine children, Tammy A. McCray of Pine Level, NC, Carlos A. McCray of Wilson Mills, NC, Lee Holmes (Evette) of Florida, Crystal Holmes of Raleigh, NC, Antonio Holmes of Selma, NC, Mondrell Holmes of Selma, NC, Pete Jr. Holmes of New York, Mario Holmes of Smithfield, NC, and Joshua Holmes of Selma, NC; 17 grandchildren, Shadae Sanders, Shartina Sanders, Devonte Sanders, Janiah Holmes, Aein Holmes, Kenya Holmes, Kenya Lucas, Emerald Lucas, Christopher McCray, Shakim Holmes, Monifah Holmes, Kohlbie Stevens, Om- arion Holmes, Christian Holmes, Zion Holmes, Hezekiah Holmes, Jaylan Holmes and Tayshon Holmes; one great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Sanders; eight sisters, Christine Williams of Brooklyn, NY, Brenda Smith (Luis) of Four Oaks, NC, Mary McCall (Curt) of Smithfield, NC, Ann Cole of Four Oaks, NC, Terry Cole of Fayetteville, NC, Vandora Bland of Smithfield, NC, Sheree Williams of Palmdale, California and Scida Williams of Brooklyn, NY; three brothers, Anthony Williams of Brooklyn, NY, Arlester Williams of Four Oaks, NC and Charles Cole of Four Oaks, NC a host of nieces and nephews a dear close cousin Gladys Lofton, two close friends Chuck Jones and Robert Edwards.
