It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear motherJulie Mariano, age 85, of Clayton, North Carolina.
Born in Kearny, New Jersey, Julie lived a life defined by love, faith, compassion, and selfless devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Adeline De Stefano; her brother, David DeStefano; and her beloved husband, Vito Mariano.
She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Caroline Eckleberry; her daughters, Claire Powers and Vita Deno; her son-in-law, Joel Deno Sr.; and her cherished grandchildren, Julia Powers, Joel Deno Jr., Jordan Deno, and Janelle Deno. Julie is also survived by her sister-in-law's Joan Mariano, Deborah De Stefano and brother-in-law Richard Eckleberry, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends, while also being preceded in death by members of her extended family.
Julie dedicated her adult life to caring selflessly for her loving husband and her mother. She always placed the needs of others before her own, offering unwavering love, kindness, and support to everyone blessed to know her. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and nurturing those she loved with a generous and compassionate heart.
Above all, Julie's life was a testament to her deep and abiding faith. She faithfully read her Bible each day, joyfully shared God's Word with others, and loved the Lord Almighty with all her heart, soul, and mind. Her faith was the foundation of her life and an inspiration to everyone around her.
Julie leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, steadfast faith, and quiet strength that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she will be deeply missed, those who loved her find comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of our Savior.
Her memory will be treasured always, and her example of love, sacrifice, and faith will never be forgotten.
