The Obituary
Jerry Williams, 64, of Smithfield, NC, passed away peacefully
on Friday, November 22, 2004, at LongLeaf Neuro Medical
Treatment Center in Wilson, North Carolina. Born on March 2,
1960, in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Cicero
and Corine Williams.
Jerry was a vibrant soul with a passion for music and dance,
always finding joy in the rhythm of life. He was a graduate of
Johnston County Schools and made lasting impressions with
his cheerful spirit and love for life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cicero and Corine
Williams; his brother, Cicero Williams Jr.; and his sisters,
Brenda Williamson and Linda Johnson.
Jerry is survived by his devoted sisters, Deborah Williams of
Smithfield, Cindy Williams of Goldsboro, and Angela Raynor
(Rudolph Jr.) of Smithfield; his brother, Danny Williams
(Regina) of Selma; and a host of loving nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also remembered fondly by
the dedicated staff and caregivers at LongLeaf Neuro Medical
Treatment Center, who provided him with care and comfort.
Special memories are also cherished by his cousin, Rosetta
Chisholm, and his beloved niece, Lakisha Williams, who was
always there to check on him and provide extra care for her
uncle.
Jerry's legacy of joy, love for music, and the warmth he
brought to those around him will be forever remembered by
his family and friends.
