Isaac "Bobby" William Sammy

Isaac “Bobby” William Sammy was a cherished son of Diana Vera Sammy and Lincoln Sammy, whose warmth and love touched all who knew him. A devoted father, Bobby’s heart belonged to his three children: Alicia Sammy, who left this world on December 31, 2023, as well as Sean Sammy and Ashana Sammy. He was a proud and loving grandfather to five grandchildren, and his spirit lives on through the fifteen nieces and nephews who held him dearly in their hearts.

Bobby was one of seven siblings, fondly remembered by Geeta Maharaj, Omardath Maharaj, Satyanand Maharaj, Saraswatti Maharaj, Shivanand Maharaj, and Rupatie Maharaj. His journey brought him to the United States on October 11, 1986, where he dedicated twenty-eight years of his life to the hospitality and food industry in New York. On September 26, 2016, he moved to North Carolina to live with his sister Geeta, whose loving care accompanied him until his peaceful passing.

Bobby’s absence leaves a profound void among his family and friends. Through every step of his journey, including the heartfelt moment he found solace in his faith, Bobby’s legacy of love, resilience, and devotion will forever remain alive in our hearts and minds. His memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who were blessed to know him.
