Holly Russell Chase, 49, passed away on February 9, 2026 after battling with POEMS/Multiple Myeloma the last two years.

Holly was born on January 28, 1977 to William and the late Linda Russell (Step-mother), and the late Bonnie Brickhouse.

Holly is survived by her siblings Josh Russell (Heather), Rachel Russell, and step sisters Dawn Winslow (David), and Kelly Long (Timmy).

Holly’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her three children: Skylar Bray (Cole), Bryce Miller and Jeremiah Miller. She was a proud grandmother to Jeter and Olivia Bray.

She earned a Bachelors degree in Nursing and devoted her life to serving others through her profession. She truly loved being a nurse. She was well known for the compassion and comfort she gave to her patients.

Outside of work she had a creative spirit and loved to paint and create DIY projects, something she was truly talented at. She also enjoyed getting lost in a good book.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday February 14, 2026 at 901 Dobbs Street, Hertford, North Carlina 27944 for those wishing to offer condolences and share memories.
