Geraldine Elizabeth Thomas, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unconditional love.Geraldine was the kind of woman who would give a stranger the shirt off her back, always putting others before herself. She had a heart big enough to feed the neighborhood and never hesitated to lend a helping hand , even if it meant giving her last. She also had a deep love for cooking, and her kitchen was a place where family, friends, and even strangers were always welcomed with a warm meal and open arms. Her generosity and warmth touched everyone who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.She was preceded in life by her beloved family roots and is survived by her cherished siblings: Martha Godwin, Mary Sutton, Janie Thomas, and Neal Thomas.Geraldine was a proud and devoted mother to her children: Jerome, Flossie, Betty, Jennifer, Jonathan, and Sharon Thomas, who carry on her love and values.Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Priscilla Thomas, Deasia O’Neal, Lorenzo Thomas, Deandre O’Neal, Larissa Thomas, Zionna Davis, Logan Davis, Jayden Thomas, Isiah Thomas, and Shanette Thomas.She was also blessed to see generations grow through her great-grandchildren: Breydon Davis, Skylar Davis, Bradley Davis, Janyia O’Neal, Jonte O’Neal, and Jahsir Webb.Geraldine’s life was a reflection of selflessness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and community. Though she is no longer with us, the impact she made will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.She will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
