Douglass Wayne Anderson

On Friday, January 17, 2020, our Heavenly Father called to rest his child, Douglass Wayne Anderson. Wayne was born on June 8th in Durham County, North Carolina to the Burline McKissett and late Joseph Anderson.
Wayne attended Johnston County schools. A graduate of Clayton High in 1982 and later received his Associate Degree from JCC in Business Administration.
Wayne was a hard worker. He worked in various industries "NOT" to work was not in his vocabulary. When Wayne was not working, he could be found cleaning the house, working on construction projects and watching movies. He also loved gardening, cooking, and golf. Wayne also cared for and loved many adopted dogs.
Wayne's pride and joy were his precious daughters (Ashley and Julia) from his union with Wheatley Dublin in 1984 until 2002. He was the epitome of a Dad. He absolutely loved his daughters whom he referred to as "The Girls". The year of 2019 was very special for Wayne. He walked Ashley down the aisle to Adrian and he also witness the birth of his first granddaughter Brooke Anderson (Julia and Kia). He was "Pop Pop" and he enjoyed making her smile.
Wayne was preceded in death by two brothers; Carson Anderson and Forrest Anderson; two sisters Linda Anderson and Cornette Atkinson.

Wayne leaves to cherish his memories, daughter; Ashley Brooke Hysten (Adrian)of San Antonio, TX, Julia Alexandria Anderson(Kia), granddaughter Brooke Anderson of Raleigh, NC, sisters, and brother from his mom; Phyllis Haywood (Andre) of Durham, NC, Evelyn Anderson of Clayton, NC, Michael Anderson (Natsuyo) of Jacksonville, FL, Kendra Dezelle of Schertz TX, Sisters and brothers from his Dad; Floyd Anderson(Sonia) of Clayton, NC, Linda Morrisey(James) of Fayetteville, NC, Karl Anderson,(Toyia) of Baltimore, MD, Hazel Crump of Somerset, NJ, Carrie L. Jenkins, Wilson, NC, Adell Hewlett of Raleigh, NC, Joseph Anderson of Frankfort, Germany, Kenneth Anderson(Annie) of Rocky Mount, NC, Curtis Anderson(Pam) of Salisbury, MD, Billy Anderson of Wake Forest, NC, Doris Sauls of Wilson, NC

He also leaves his beloved pets, Milo and Bella.
