Deborah Gail Davis

Deborah Gail Davis, daughter of the late Pennell and Annie T. Davis was born October 24, 1961, in Wake County. She entered into eternal rest on December 23, 2020, in Seattle, Washington. Deborah attended Johnston County Public Schools and was a graduate of the Clayton High School Class of 1979. She attended North Carolina Central University Durham, N.C. She worked as an account for Holiday Inn. She mentored children in her spare time. Deborah joined Johnston Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Later she moved her membership to New Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Deborah was predeceased by two brothers Frankie and Brian Davis and one sister Merry Hines. Deborah leaves to cherish 3 sisters: Joyce Payne of Clayton, N C., Peggy Cozart (Elmo) of Seattle, Washington, and Mary Lane of Clayton, N.C.; one brother Maurice Davis of Raleigh, NC. Three uncles Donzo (Doris) of Hamlet, NC. George Tomlinson (Bessie) of Clayton, NC., and Carey Williams (Laverne) of VA. Two Aunts, Judy Tabron of Clayton, N.C. and Emma Jean Davis of Raleigh, NC. Two sisters-in-law Gloria Davis Petersburg, Fl. and Phyllis Davis of Clayton, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Two friends of the family Deanier Yarborough and Carolyn Gulley. Her best friend Debra Jean Morgan of Clayton, NC.
