Christine Patricia Williams Sanders

Christine Patricia Sanders was born August 2, 1938, in Johnston County, NC to the late Roosevelt and Beatrice Williams. She entered into eternal life on August 6, 2020.
In her early years, she attended Johnston County Public Schools and was a member of Hickory Grove Disciple Church. She was employed by Sylvania, Burlington Mills, Avondale, and Frontier until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and cooking - she was especially known for her famous "German Chocolate Cake."
She leaves to cherish in her memories: one son, Deacon Stephen Sanders (Shelia) of Clayton, NC; four daughters, Diane Williams of Smithfield, NC, Carolyn Thorne of Rocky Mount, NC, Patricia Nash (Earl) of Rock Hill, SC, and Kiesha Sanders of Fort Mill, SC. Ms. Christine leaves ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by: four sisters, Josephine Williams of Four Oaks NC, Clarice Williams of Four Oaks, NC, Mattie Jean Whitley of Broadway, NC, and Gail Watson (Rodney) of Selma, NC; and one brother, Darnell Williams (Robin) of Clayton, NC. She also leaves to cherish a special friend, Tony Marsh, and a special niece, Cassandra Sanders. She loved and was also loved by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
