Christine Delores Moore Mccoy

Christine Moore McCoy was born September 17th, 1936 to Willie James Moore and Mary Jane Moore of Goldsboro, North Carolina. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on December 19th 2018 at Kitty Askins, Goldsboro, North Carolina.
At an early age, she joined Antioch Baptist Church and was an active member, regularly attending Sunday school, choir, regular and ancillary services. She graduated from Dillard High School, class of 1953. She worked and retired from the Seymour Johnson Officer's Club where she served various roles including as a supervisor. She married William Henry McCoy, her husband of 46 years.
She is preceded in death by two brothers (Emanuel and Willie Ray), two sisters (Juanita and Mary Elizabeth), a daughter (Deborah), a sister-in-law (Mildred), a nephew (David Lee) and several step-brothers (Edward, Richard, Norwood, David, John and George)
She is survived by a brother (Bennie Thomas), a sister (Marie Antoinette Becton), a son (Dennis), a daughter (Mary), two grandsons (Derek Ramon and Darius), a granddaughter (Lensa), and finally five great grandchildren (Mercy, Maya, Marcus, Alexandria and Maitee a soon-to be born granddaughter), many nieces (Iris, Mary Ann, Doris Ann), nephews (Anthony, Donald, Clifford, Harold Lee) and a plethora of cousins and many, many friends.
