Carmelita Resendez, age 82, was called home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Texas, she later made her home in 

Dudley, North Carolina, where she lived a life filled with faith, love, and kindness.

Carmelita had a heart as warm as the sunshine she loved so much. Whether she was casting a line while fishing, walking along the beach, or gathered with her family, she found God’s beauty in every moment. Her gentle spirit and unwavering faith were a light to all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved sisters Adelita Celia, Alicia Morin her devoted son Samuel Resendez and daughter Sylvia Resendez, her cherished 

grandchildren. Salina Frost, Samantha Resendez, Sabrina Resendez, Antonio tavera Fernand,  Tavera Adrian Tavera and her precious great

grandchildren. Anais Blanco, Victor blanco jr. Saniya Forbes, Symone Resendez

Each of them carries a piece of her love, wisdom, and strength within their hearts.

Carmelita’s family takes comfort in knowing that she has found eternal rest in Heaven, reunited with loved ones who went before her, and embraced 

in the arms of her Savior. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, love, and joy will live on through generations.
