Beatrice Thelma Henderson

Beatrice Thelma Lucille Richardson Henderson, 86,
(Mommy, Mama, Big Mama, Aunt Peter, Aunt Bea, Ms. Bea,
Sis. Henderson) was born to the late Leonard and Mirtie
Richardson of Selma North Carolina on a cold wintry day of
December 22, 1935. She was loved by her sisters: Josephine
(deceased), Pastor Ruth Ray, Naomi (deceased), and Shirley
Jean; and her brothers: LaSalle (deceased), Joseph Walter
(JW), Emmanuel (Bo) (deceased) and Leonard (deceased).
Sis Henderson transitioned peacefully in her sleep on
Sunday, October 2, 2022.
She was educated and graduated from Richard B.
Harrison High School in the summer of 1952. She left her
childhood home and ventured to the big city where she
married and met the Lord as her Savior. She had five
beautiful children. Her firstborn Kathy Henderson
(deceased) had two children, Chastity Quashie and
Vincent Vargas. Her son, Albert Henderson Jr. has four
children, Anthony, Quadell, Shanice, and Kasawn. Her son,
Vincent (deceased). Her daughter, Sharen McCall. Her baby
girl Linda Michelle (Lu-Bell). Her Goddaughters, Diane,
Belinda White and Brenda Simmons. She leaves behind a
host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Sis Henderson loved the Lord dearly (daily 6 o'clock prayer).
She was currently a member of Christ Fellowship Church,
Church of God of Prophecy where she served faithfully and
lovingly as a Missionary Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and Choir Member! She was equally faithful and loyal to
her previous church, Faith Walk, COGOP, where she did all
"her hands found to do." She was constantly witnessing to
anyone she came in contact with. Her favorite scripture
was Psalm 91 and the song. "Open the Eyes of My Heart Lord"
