With grateful hearts and joyful hope, we celebrate the life and legacy of a beloved woman of faith who entered this world on May 9, 1943, born to her loving parents, Jesse and Alease Lee,
and was welcomed into eternal rest on January 27, 2026. From an early age, she was rooted in faith, family, and community. She received her early education at White Oak Elementary School and went on to graduate from Pleasant Grove High School. Ever eager to learn and grow, she continued her studies at St. Augustine University in
Raleigh, NC, where she attended for two years. In union with her husband, David "Bo", they together made their home in Smithfield, where they began building a life and family. From this union were born two cherished daughters. who became the pride and joy of her life. Through this marriage, she was also enriched by
many loving in laws who became an extended family she treasured deeply. Her strong work ethic and creative spirit were evident throughout her career. She worked faithfully at Jerald Sewing Plant and Cutter Laboratories/Bayer and later fulfilled a lifelong dream by becoming a business owner. She ended her professional journey as the proud owner of Brionn's Florist in Smithfield, NC, where her love for beauty and people bloomed daily
through her work. A devoted woman of God, she joined Littlefield Missionary Baptist Church in Newton Grove, NC in 1955, a place she lovingly called home for most of her life. Her service there was abundant and heartfelt. She ministered through the choir, floral ministry, kitchen committee, usher board, pastoral aid committee and the Fulfilling Destiny Ministry, always serving with joy.
humility, and a willing heart. Her faith was not just spoken-it was lived. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her cherished sister, Peggy Lee Morrisey and her dear brother, Morgan Lee; all of whom she now rejoins in glory. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love through her family. She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Alesia Sanders (Hugh) and Erica Royal; her granddaughters, Alexis (Justin), Aleiyah, Ayanah, and Cayden; her great grandchildren, Hayes and Aria; her special niece LaShonda; her loving in-laws; and a host of other nieces, nepnews, lamty and Mends who were blessed Dy her kindness, wisdom,
and unwavering love. Though we mourn her physical absence, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and give thanks for a life well lived-one marked by service, creamty, tard, ana joy. Her memory will forever be a blessing, and nei
legacy will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
